Privacy Policy

Last updated September 17, 2026

The short version. This website does not ask you for anything. We do not sell personal information, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors. Our apps collect more than the website does, and each one explains itself in its own privacy policy.

1. Who we are

Deadlift Digital LLC is a limited liability company organised under the laws of Missouri. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company. We are the controller of the personal information described here.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers this website and the way we handle enquiries sent to the company. It does not cover the individual apps we publish.

Each app has its own privacy policy, linked from its own site and from its app store listing. Where an app records location, health or workout data, that policy is the one that describes it. Reading this page tells you about the company; reading an app's policy tells you about that app.

3. What this website collects

Server logs

Our web host records ordinary request logs: IP address, the page requested, the time, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string. This happens for every website you visit and we use it only to keep the site running and to investigate abuse. We do not use it to identify individuals.

If you email us

We keep your message and your address so we can reply and so we have a record of the conversation. Nothing you send us is added to a marketing list.

Third-party requests

There are none. Our typefaces are served from our own domain rather than from a font CDN, so loading this site does not tell any other company that you visited it. We mention this because loading fonts from a third party is the one request most sites make without disclosing it.

4. Cookies

Browsing this site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress, which this site runs on, sets cookies in two situations: when someone logs in to administer the site, and when someone leaves a comment and asks to be remembered. If you do neither, you should see no cookies from us.

5. Why we process it

Purpose Basis (UK/EU GDPR)
Serving and securing the website Legitimate interests — running a website safely
Replying to your enquiry Legitimate interests, or steps prior to a contract
Meeting tax, accounting and legal duties Legal obligation

6. Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to operate: principally a web host and an email provider. They process data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we have no cross-context behavioural advertising to opt out of. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

7. How long we keep it

Server logs are kept for a short period, typically measured in weeks, and then rotated out. Correspondence is kept while it is useful and then deleted. Records we are required to retain for tax or accounting reasons are kept for as long as that duty lasts.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and a growing number of other states have these rights by statute; so do people in the UK and the EEA.

To exercise any of them, write to contact@deadliftdigitalllc.com. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking. We aim to reply within 30 days, and we will tell you if we need longer.

If you are in the UK or the EEA and you think we have got something wrong, you may complain to your data protection authority. We would rather you told us first so we can fix it.

9. Children

This website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Our apps carry their own age ratings on the app stores; where an app is used by someone under 18, a parent or guardian should review that app's privacy policy with them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and administrative access is limited and protected. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise; if a breach affects you we will tell you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.

11. Where your information goes

We are a United States company and our service providers are generally located in the United States. If you are writing to us from outside the US, your information will be transferred there, to a country whose privacy laws differ from your own. Where a transfer out of the UK or EEA needs a safeguard, we rely on the standard contractual clauses.

12. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects you, we will do more than that.
